I am a researcher at the Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging at the Radboud University Nijmegen, currently funded by a three-year Marie Curie Outgoing Fellowship. I spent the first two years of this fellowship at the University of California, Berkeley and the University of California, San Francisco, working in the labs of Keith Johnson and Edward Chang. During that time I collected intracranial EEG data on various projects focussing on speech sound processing. For the third year I am currently working in the Neurobiology of Language Department headed by Peter Hagoort.
My research focusses on two general themes:
Speech sound processing and its neural underpinnings
The distribution of load between perception and production in turn-taking.
